Horwath was spending one of the final days of the campaign on a swing Nike Roshe Run Dmb Black through southern and southwestern Ontario, with stops in Essex, London, Brantford and Waterloo.
The idea that Ontario New Democrats would form a coalition with the Progressive Conservatives following the provincial election this week is NDP Leader Andrea Horwath said Tuesday.
What ever the out come of tomorrow election, Ontario is right back where it was before this costly Roshe Run Hyperfuse Black
did everything we could to work on behalf of Ontarians and to focus on their priorities and to get things done for them through the last couple of Roshe Run Dusty Grey
years. They will make a decision on Thursday. I can presuppose what that decision is going to be. I certainly respect their opportunity to make that decision and I will do what needs to be done to deliver for Ontarians. said she trusts that people will elect a government that sense for the people one of the NDP election slogans.
Horwath calls possible NDP
Her remarks using a phrase she credited to a colourful former New Democrat, the late Peter Kormos come after she was hammered by the Liberals with accusations she would support a Tory minority government.
Horwath is not saying what she would do if one of the other two parties wins a minority government, but she was asked what makes her think such a government could survive.
She has been asked for days at news conferences whether she would rule out formal coalitions or propping up either the Liberals or the PCs if they win the election but fall short of a majority.
At her second stop of the day, Horwath was asked if she would also like to call on the idea that she would form a coalition with the Liberals.
Fortunately polls are seldom correct on the final numbers. Given we have no clear viable option in this election we as a province need a PC minority by 1 2 seats with the NDP as the official opposition to insure we have some agreement on what is actually good for the province.
Wynne has been grasping at straws the last couple of days and Roshe Run Latest
fiasco we are about to undertake on June 12. I myself don see one Party that is worthy of a Vote. Maybe its time for some accountability, or should I better say it is past due. How much longer does the public have to put up with corruption from the people we chose and put our trust in the leaders we voted in to govern this once great Province. As far as the one quote Hudak made on reducing the amount of MPP seats in Queens Park, I support that. We need to reduce Govt. period, in all areas Municipal, and Regional. School Boards not Teachers but the upper end Superintendents, Transportation, etc. Get an Auditor to check on these few mentioned, that alone will save unnecessary wasted Tax $$$$.
The Liberals need to be sent a clear message the days of the old boys club are over and the practice of having a culture of corruption is over. Liberal's provided over a billion reasons not to trust them, compounded by a corrupt Orange system and failed e health that seems to be for sale to the insurance industry and other financial groups. Lets's not forget the current Liberal leader. Signed off on the gas plant.
The PC's have showed they cannot manage the message nor provide valid research and accounting of what can be achieved. With the NDP as the minority we hopefully can have some checks and balance.
Minority governments aren as stable as majorities, as they don have enough seats to have the power to control the outcome of votes. Every time there a confidence vote such as a budget or a speech from the throne and if it doesn pass, it can trigger an election.
going to say very clearly: I call bullspit on the idea that we will have a coalition with Tim Hudak, Horwath said at an early morning rally in Essex.
She wasn however, as equivocal when asked about a Liberal NDP alliance.
But if the other two parties form an alliance, the lieutenant governor can decide that they have the confidence of the legislature and allow them to form a government. A formal coalition government sees the supporting party get ministers in cabinet.
she saying all kinds of things that really are not true, Horwath said in London. I really do need to make it clear that that rumour that she spreading or that desperate attempt she making to try to tell people something that not true is useless and it not true and it is bullspit. a minority government polls suggest that a likely outcome, either for the Progressive Conservatives or the Liberals the NDP would have to find some common ground with the winning party, or risk plunging the province into yet another election.
think New Democrats have shown how much we respect decisions that voters make, said Horwath, who propped up a minority Liberal government for years.
Horwath has said she could not support Hudak plan to cut 100,000 public sector jobs, nor would she support Liberals, though she hadn explicitly ruled out any scenario until Tuesday.
